Funding

The Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction is granting funds to support up to 15 community mental health centers and other providers of substance use disorder treatment in effectively utilizing evidence based practices for the treatment and assessment of substance use disorders in adults and adolescents. DMHA is offering two opportunities for this initiative.

The first opportunity required of each of the 15 participating sites involves training and implementation of motivational enhancement therapy plus cognitive behavior therapy. Also, each of the 15 sites will participate in the computer adaptive testing assessments. Each organization will receive compensation for MET/CBT and CAT participation and completion up to $42,500.

The other opportunity requires up to five of the 15 agencies to participate in the Leadership and Organizational Change for Implementation training. LOCI focuses on creating an organizational climate to support MET/CBT implementation and sustainment by engaging participants in a leadership and organizational change development program. This opportunity will also require CAT participation. This opportunity will provide each organization the option to receive compensation for LOCI and CAT participation and completion up to $50,000.

This grant will be funded beginning September 30, 2020, through September 29, 2021.
